Microsoft has released a new PowerToys update. Version 0.66.0 is now available to all users with a decent list of various fixes and improvements (no new tools this time, unfortunately).
Microsoft is working on a neat tool launcher for PowerToys. The app will soon get a Windows 11 Quick Settings-like flyout, allowing you to open select utilities with a couple of clicks.
The last update to PowerToys was a hugely significant one, adding two great new utilities in the form of a HOSTS file editor and the File Locksmith tool. Just a week on, it is time for another update.
v0.62 was released last week, but since then, bugs that were deemed important enough to fix have been identified and fixed, such as Quick Accent causing Keyboard Manager to not work, and more.
