Destiny and Marathon developer Bungie addressed layoffs and player response to Lightfall and The Final Shape in a new note from the studio on Thursday.

“This has been one of the most difficult weeks in our studio’s history, as we’ve parted ways with people we respect and admire,” says the Destiny 2 dev team in a blog post today reflecting on the layoffs.
