Call was made to the boys father who came to the scene and picked the child up and drove him to einstein medical center. It appears to be, appears to be a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head and a case of an unsecured firearm in the house found by kids and then tragedy. 15 minutes later the boy was pronounced dead and the fathers car was at einstein cordoned off by crime scene tape. The distraught mother was eventually taken to the hospital. Still a lot of work to be done and interviews to be conducted to find out exactly what happened here. Neighbors say they saw the boy and his parents and some said they didnt think the family lived here long and stunned by the violence and age of the victim. My son used to run and up downp block and play and try to take his toys and stuff and the boy was a good kid and the parents were friendly as well. Its sad to hear this. A lot of questions surrounding this case still tonight homicide investigators are on the case. Live in the olney section,
