C More calls up Nokia drama

Mobile 1.0 will be available on C More early next year Nordic streamer C More has taken first-window on-demand rights in the Nordics and Baltics to a new Finnish drama charting the rise and fall of mobile phone manufacturer Nokia. Finnish prodco Rabbit Films has begun production on six-part series Mobile 1.0. The show will be available in both English and Finnish and shot in Finland and the US. The series, which will launch early next year on C More, will also have a linear premiere on local channel MTV3. Rabbit holds international distribution rights. Season one of the show will focus on the years 1988-90 when mobile phones were just coming on to the scene.
