Toyota Australia has launched the all-new Toyota Kluger Hybrid in a new campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi Australia, that takes a light-hearted look at modern family life.
‘Where Freedom Meets Family’ brings freedom and family together to prove the 2021 Kluger Hybrid is just as much for the adults as it is for the kids.
Directed by Good Oil’s Fiona McGee, the integrated campaign will run on broadcast television, digital, point of sale sponsorships and CRM.
Says John Pappas, chief marketing officer, Toyota Australia: “We’re excited to bring Hybrid to Kluger for the first time. Together with the all new style and greater sophistication, we wanted to have fun and prove that the Kluger Hybrid is as much for the parents as it is the whole family.”

Toyota has launched a campaign by Publicis’ Saatchi & Saatchi to promote the new Toyota Kluger Hybrid, positioning it as a vehicle that the whole family, including parents, will enjoy.
The “Where Freedom Meets Family” spot sees the parents ditch their kids with their grandma to drive the car.
The integrated campaign, directed by Fiona McGee at Good Oil, will run on broadcast television, digital, point of sale sponsorships and CRM.
Last month, Toyota handed both its creative and media accounts to Publicis. Saatchi & Saatchi was selected to continue to lead Toyota’s brand and select portfolios.

Hyundai’s first-ever eight-seater SUV, the Palisade, is the subject of a new campaign created with Innocean Australia.
The campaign centres around the theme of busy parents using car trips as an opportunity to spend time with their fast-growing teenagers, summed up by the ‘Kidult Approved’ messaging.
Across the hero and supplementary TVCs, the Hyundai Palisade is shown as the ultimate space to spend time with the kids, even as they quickly become ‘Kidults’.

The ‘Kidults’ are shown to be literally transforming before the eyes of a mum as she worries about them growing up too fast. The various luxury features of the Palisade are the one thing she doesn’t need to worry about.

Australian-based director Fiona McGee has recently shot the annual Christmas campaign for Three Mobile entitled ‘Everyone’s a kid at Christmas’ through Boys+Girls Ireland.
Three wanted to celebrate the fact that although this Christmas may be different, some traditions will never change. Christmas trees will be decorated, presents will be wrapped and families will continue to make Christmas memories, be they in person or virtually.
Says Aislinn O’Connor, director of marketing, Three Ireland and Three UK: “At Three, we understand the power of connection in sharing special moments with loved ones near and far, especially at Christmas. As we face a different Christmas, we know our customers will rely on our network more than ever in helping them stay connected to those who matter most. We want to wish our customers a very Merry Christmas, from our network to theirs.”
