You look at it, it doesnt have any outstanding building violations after a preliminary search here. it housed about 120 units about 50 years old, but the question is what potentially could be done for buildings like this to try to keep this from happening again. as we just saw, it didnt have any structural violations, but it was a federally funded building, so it certainly leads to the other question of what kind of codes would potentially apply there if it doesnt necessarily fall within new yor...
