A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for most of the Southside, lower Peninsula, Eastern Shore and northeast North Carolina from Friday to Saturday morning as those areas may see 3” to 6” of snow by Saturday morning.

Rain moving in today, changing to snow this afternoon to evening. Widespread snow and wind Friday to Saturday morning. Clearing and cold for the rest of the weekend.

We will see some winter weather Thursday afternoon into the night and then another round Friday afternoon, extending into Saturday morning.
