Matt Daley s a double-threat athlete at Elmira College

PLYMOUTH – He hasn’t been there long, but men’s lacrosse teams in the Empire 8 Athletic Conference are already taking note of Matt Daley. The Plymouth South Class of 2020 graduate is making sure of that.
“Somebody told me they saw my name circled on the game notes from one of the teams we played earlier this season,” Daley said. “I like it. I love that kind of a challenge.”
Less than a month into the spring college sports season teams are already taking note of the freshman attack from America’s Hometown. His team at Elmira College in New Yorkk is off to a 1-4 start to the season, but Daley’s been nearly unstoppable in the offensive zone with a team-high 18 goals and an assist so far on the season.
Plymouth North, South track teams engage in the spirit of competition
Patriot League track and field divisional championship meets will take place next week

PLYMOUTH – Virtual meets transitioned to reality earlier this week for the Plymouth North and Plymouth South winter track and field teams.
After several weeks only being allowed virtual meets, the Eagles and the Panthers got to compete against each other with the boys running at South on Monday and the girls teams clashing Tuesday at North.
“We had beautiful weather today at Plymouth North and the competition was great,” reported Blue Eagles Head Coach Cliff Buckley. “It was just so great to see kids compete. You could tell they were pumped to run, and the times showed it. There is always a great vibe when North and South run together. I feel like it is very positive and both teams cheer each other on. It is unique.”
