Some planets in our solar system; namely Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Saturn and Venus, will make Sky watchers have something extra special to look forward to later in June. All five of the planets that we can see with the naked eye are going to line up in the sky for a very rare and astonishing occasion.

Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus have aligned in the evening sky and will remain major fixtures in the evening sky for the rest of December, but the trio will be joined by a newcomer this week.

After sunset on Thursday, a celestial trio will align in the evening sky, providing a perfect opportunity for stargazers to put up their telescopes one final time before the colder air sets throughout the United States.
