Pyrotechnic lights all around the stadium for the pregame ceremonies. Steel Panther performing 45 minutes before the kick and at halftime. Fireworks and shooting flames to introduce the players. Even dancers that hover over the goalposts the entire game. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley introducing themselves. And that doesn't even come close to what a show the Los Angeles KISS put on to start the game. It was an experience that every KISS player had never been through, and it certainly ...

The 2015 AFL regular season is said and done with, and as is the case each and every year, many records have been set and milestones have been reached.

Even though the 1-9 Los Angeles KISS made some significant roster changes, played a talented Jacksonville Sharks team tough, and earned their first win of the season against the Portland Thunder last week, very few expected them to come into the stadium of the 11-0 San Jose SaberCats and earn their first road win since the early 2014 season.

The San Jose SaberCats win ArenaBowl XXVIII 68-47. This is the SaberCats 4th ArenaBowl title. San Jose used the best quarter in the history of the ArenaBowl to turn a 33-27 halftime deficit into a 55-33 lead, and from there, they just rolled to one of the biggest victories in the history of the ArenaBowl.

The Tampa Bay Storm (4-3) took the Southern Division lead in Week 8 in the league's version of Monday Night Football over the hapless Kansas City Command (0-6) 63-46. But of course, a comedy of errors, a few utterly hilarious comments, and a shameless promotion gone bad later, all that was left from this one was a bunch of things to laugh about a league that is getting worse and worse with each passing week.

The Albany Empire snapped a two-game losing streak as they handed the Baltimore Brigade their first home loss of the season, 56-49, in front of 5,552 at Royal Farms Arena on Saturday night. The win moved Albany within a game of Baltimore for first place.

Grand Rapids Rampage defensive lineman Rahim Abdullah has been around some football fields in his career. However hes a rookie in his latest gridiron stop. Abdullah is making his debut in the Arena Football League this season after stops in college football, the NFL and the Canadian Football League. Hes having to learn a different game in arena football.

As I think back to the 2016 AFL season, I'll remember a number of awesome moments both on and off the field. Joe Hills scoring eight touchdowns in a game. T.T Toliver essentially rewriting the record books. Nick Davila quietly putting up one of the best seasons a quarterback has ever had in this league. The Amway Center standing as one in the #OrlandoUnited campaign.

It was supposed to be the culmination of one of the greatest seasons ever by an Arena Football team. A win at home in ArenaBowl XXVII would have brought the city of Cleveland its first pro sports championship since the Cleveland Browns won the NFL title in 1964.

Tonight is real. When Cleveland hosts Philadelphia in the first round of the 2014 Arena Football League postseason tonight, it will be real. All season long, it felt unreal. There was the start. How could a Gladiators team that lost 12 of its first 14 last year, that didn't win its third game until July, go into Memorial Day 2014 undefeated?
