An awareness campaign was organised by the Indian Coast Guard ship Abhinav at Chellanam Cooperative Bank, Ernakulam, as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav which celebrates 75 years of independence and the propagation of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by Centre.

The nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is aimed at encouraging citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes and inspiring a feeling of patriotism.

The organisation hoisted the national flag at its headquarters in Nagpur on August 15, 1947 and then on January 26, 1950.
