The Nigerian Army has said it will conduct a final disposal of several unexploded bombs recovered from the ill-fated Ikeja Cantonment Bomb blasts of 2002 on Saturday. This was disclosed in a statement released by Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director, Army Public Relations, on Thursday. The Nigerian Army has announced that it will on Friday dispose of unexploded ordnances (bombs) recovered from the 2002 Ikeja Cantonment bomb blast at the Nigerian Army Range in Owode, Ajilete, Ogun State from 10am to 4pm. The Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, who made this known in a statement on Wednesday, said that the disposal of the unexploded ordnances was part of clearance up going on.
