Each Memorial Day, App State commemorates those who died while serving in the U.S. military with a wreath laying at the Veterans Memorial on the Boone campus.

Area communities to recognize Memorial Day with special services and cemetery honors

Everyone who visits the Adel Fareway Store on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27 will be able to receive a poppy in honor of the service of military veterans from the Adel American Legion Auxiliary.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Dover and at 11 in New Philadelphia.
