yesterday warmer than average temperatures for much of the nation. watching this area of low pressure that s going to come in to the central u.s. some of that energy combined with the area of low pressure across the south. a coastal storm is going to develop. not the blockbuster we thought it might be this time yesterday. but we are going to see some snow for the northern edge of the system. measurable snow for areas west and north of the i-95 corridor and too warm for a snow event for now. here s your forecast today. we will watch that area of low pressure developing across the southeast and then we watch more rain for parts of california and hawaii. this is a huge story. flood advisories, flood warnings for much of the islands, and we had blizzard warnings in the higher elevations over the weekend. so we will continue to watch this area of the beautiful hawaiian islands over the next couple of days. brian, have you ever been to hawaii before? brian: i was there once. ainsley: amazing
