The Holy Mole Taco at Tacos A Go Go.
Oxtail is having a moment.
For example, because the Chinese calendar flipped last month to the Year of the Ox, a bunch of Katy restaurants got together to feature dishes featuring oxtail. Each week you can go to a new spot for its dish (like on Sunday, March 7, visit Chuckwagon BBQ & Burgers for smoked and smothered oxtails).
But that isn t all. It seems as if oxtailâbeef tail meat that s best enjoyed after being stewed for a long timeâis popping up more often on Houston-area menus. Case in point: Tacos A Go Go s next collaboration taco is an oxtail, sweet potato, cabbage, and mole taco, courtesy Chris Williams of Lucille s (look for it on Tuesdays during the month of March).

Juana Tabora knew she had to help her neighbours when the water began to flood the streets, blocking the exits in La Lima, her city in northwestern Honduras.
“We were surrounded by water, people started saying ‘help us, we want to come in’, so we opened the door downstairs so that people could get in,” says Tabora, the owner of a two-storey funeral home that she turned into an improvised shelter. Around 30 families took refuge there after losing their homes to the hurricanes Eta and Iota, which devastated large swathes of Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua in the first weeks of November.
