If there is a kind of art that is not pretentious, it’s abstract painting well, to a certain extent. There is no accurate depiction. Just wild brushstrokes, unusual shapes, and crazy colors all contributing to making one grotesque piece of art. It can be joyful and chaotic but also streamlined and serene.

Dubbed as “Elemental,” the exhibit features masterpieces from virtuosic geometric abstractionists. It includes the works of world-renowned painters such as Hungarian-French artist Victor Vasarely (1906–1997) and Venezuelan kinetic artist Carlos Cruz-Diez (1923–2019).
