No schools in Escambia or Santa Rosa counties cracked the top 100 of Florida High Schools in a 2021 rankings report released by U.S. News & World Report this week.
The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings include data on almost 24,000 public high schools and K-12 schools across the country. It ranks almost 18,000 of them. According to U.S. News and World Report, 602 of Florida s more than 1,000 public schools made the list.
Gulf Breeze High School ranked the highest from the two-county area, coming in at No. 107 in the state and No. 1,845 in the country. Gulf Breeze has 1,811 students, with a graduation rate of 98%.
