Palm Beach father-daughter doctors among first to get COVID-19 vaccine

Susan Salisbury Special to the Daily News A father-daughter pair of dermatologists from Palm Beach were among those who received the first round of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on Friday. “It went better than my flu shot. It was less painful and faster. We barely even felt the needle,” said Dr. Miranda Rosenberg, 33,  who grew up in Palm Beach and is a dermatology resident at Jackson Memorial, a public hospital and the major teaching hospital of the University of Miami’s medical school. Her father, Dr. Steven Rosenberg, a dermatologist who has lived in Palm Beach with his wife Susan for 36 years, said of the experience: “The nurses stuck the needle in each of us simultaneously. We bumped into a lot of doctors we know. They are happy to get the vaccine.”
