Third suspect charged in December 2020 double murder in Kalamazoo

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) A third person has now been charged in a Kalamazoo double murder that happened in December of last year. 18-year-old Tikario McMillon was arraigned Wednesday virtually from the Calhoun County jail. He faces two counts of felony murder along with several other charges related to the crimes. 19-year-old Tonesha Taylor-McMillon and 24-year-old Dangelo Davis have previously been charged with the deaths of two people. 33-year-old Katoya McPherson and 36-year-old Floyd Brahsers were shot and killed at the Oak Tree apartment complex on Parkside Drive. Bond was denied for Tikario McMillon and he has a probable cause hearing scheduled for June 3rd.

Kalamazoo Township Police were called to investigate suspicious deaths on Tuesday, Dec. 29, on the 3700 block of Parkside Drive at the Oak Tree apartment complex. Police are now investigation the suspicious deaths as homicides, according to a news release from the department. Police suspect the deaths occurred sometime after 9 p.m. on Monday, police said.
