The first time that my family visited Fly Creek, my son wasn t quite a year old yet but I can still hear his squeals of pure joy and the sound of his baby hands clapping as he watched the ducks and geese in the Mill Pond.
Needing to get away for a long weekend, my family rented a cabin on Goodyear lake and set out to explore which is how we stumbled on Fly Creek in all of its gloriousness. Although a massive draw for tourists, there was something charming about the place that made us feel like we d stepped back in time where things were a bit slower and people were a bit more friendly.
