These honors recognize the airline for its investments in its MileagePlus loyalty program and customer service as well as its Boeing 787 Dreamliners and environmental achievements:

For the 11th consecutive year, Global Traveler conducted its GT Tested Reader Survey, asking frequent business and luxury travelers to name the best in a variety of travel-related categories. More than 26,000 people responded. Global Traveler’s inaugural awards were celebrated in 2004. Over the past 11 years, the survey has grown to honor more travel-related categories, including airlines, hotels, loyalty programs, credit cards and travel-related products in more than 80 categories.
