Atlanta-based restaurant chain Flying Biscuit Café has announced plans to open an Athens location at 1180 Prince Ave. in early 2021.
The “breakfast, brunch, and lunch all day” menu features traditional favorites, scrambles, benedicts, and omelets with vegetarian and vegan options. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, and wraps are also available.
Founded in Candler Park in 1993 by Delia Champion, Flying Biscuit Café expanded to the Midtown area in 2000, and currently has 20 locations throughout Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and Texas.
The Athens location is one of three projected to open in Georgia next year, along with new restaurants in North and South Carolina.
