The Department of Trade and Industry Region 2’s (DTI R2) – Processed Fruits and Nuts (PFN) clients, namely: Enrile Farmers’ Cooperative from Cagayan and Jeremiah 33:3 Food Products from Isabela; together with Mr. Ren Mark Marcelo, DTI Regional PFN Focal Person, actively huddled during the first day of the Course 1 Track 1 of the Food Connect Program for PFN MSMEs on 29 June 2021.
The activity was an initiative of the National Industry Cluster Coordinator for Processed Fruits and Nuts (PFN) through its implementation of the Philippines FEAST (Food Enterprise Advancement through Sustainable Technologies) Program in partnership with the Philippine Trade Training Center.
Food Connect is a series of trainings and workshops that will aid the MSMEs in preparing the needed documentary requirements for their FDA LTO and CPR application and educate food manufacturers on the standard documentation and application of gate to plate processes in the food chain.
