Milkrun founder Dany Milham confirmed on Thursday that Woolworths Group has officially acquired the brand and operating entity, The Australian Financial Review reports.

Less than a year ago, Dany Milham was waxing lyrical about his stratospheric goals for MilkRun - the rapid grocery delivery company sweeping the streets of Sydney and Melbourne.

MilkRun announced yesterday that it will close its doors and make all staff and riders redundant by the end of the week, becoming the latest in a long line of grocery delivery firms to go under.
