The Sequim Valley Lions will host a spaghetti dinner for all veterans from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, at the Sequim VFW, 169 E. Washington St. The dinner is free for veterans and $5 for anyone else. There will also be drawings for gifts for veterans periodically throughout the three hours.
The Railroad Bridge will be lighted for the holidays on Thursday, accompanied by a chance to shop at the gift shop at the Dungeness River Nature Center.
The Navy is in town in Port Angeles, Forks will celebrate the grand finale of days of celebration, patriotic music be performed in Sequim, Port Townsend and Port Hadlock. Communities across the North Olympic Peninsula will mark the Fourth of July on Tuesday.
