The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is looking for an escaped inmate convicted of violent crimes.

Investigators said Trent Thompson, 22, was convicted of three counts of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault on a public servant. He was captured about 12 hours after he was reported missing.

Texas authorities are searching for an inmate, 22-year-old Trent Thompson, who escaped from Formby Unit in Plainview Saturday night.

Trent Thompson, 22, was last seen at the Formby Unit in Plainview at approximately 11:14 p.m. Saturday and was last seen in a white prison uniform.
