Apple Original Films has unveiled details of Oscar winner Brad Pitt’s eagerly awaited Formula 1 feature film, as crews begin filming scenes with the actor at Silverstone, where Sunday’s British Grand Prix is being staged.

Formula One star Lewis Hamilton is co-producing the film, in which Pitt stars as a driver who comes out of retirement.

As if Formula One wasn’t glamorous enough, Silverstone will have a sprinkling of A-lister Hollywood stardust this weekend as the Northamptonshire circuit doubles up as a film set while also hosting the British Grand Prix.
