KINGSTON The planned demolition of the Wolfe Island ferry terminal building will be a heritage loss and hurt the local tourism sector, a downtown business owner said.
The existing ferry terminal building, built in the 1990s, is to be demolished in the fall of 2023 to make room for an additional traffic lane for vehicles coming off the ferry.
