BOSS volunteers help out at Pickering High School
Pickering Elementary School recently received a helping hand from some helpful volunteers.
Fort Polk s Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program recently volunteered their time and energy in helping out Pickering Elementary School. Volunteers worked to put together Chrome Carts for the school s laptops. According to BOSS, volunteers worked at the school over the past two weeks to make sure that the carts were properly assembled.
Fort Polk BOSS issued the following statement on the work they ve recently completed: For the past two weeks, The JRTC and Fort Polk BOSS Program have dedicated some time to volunteer at Pickering Elementary School to help assemble 15 Chrome carts for their laptops. BOSS will always help ensuring our young future leaders of America are adequately equipped in school.
