The Debmarine Namibia Premiership is interestingly poised with three teams  threatening to pull away at the top of the log, while the relegation battle is also intensifying.

Khomas Nampol are celebrating surviving relegation and not leading the title race, head coach Fortune Eichab said following Sunday's stunning 2-0 victory over Debmarine Namibia Premiership title-holders African Stars.

African Stars moved three points clear at the top of the log after a consummate 3-1 victory against Khomas Nampol, while Young Brazilians had a great weekend on the road, collecting maximum points against Julinho and Okakarara Young Warriors.

Khomas Nampol closed in on log leaders African Stars and FC Ongos with an emphatic 4-0 victory against Orlando Pirates on Tuesday evening. 

With close to a third of the Debmarine Namibia Premiership completed, the title race is still wide open as the league heads into Round 8 and 9 matches throughout Namibia. 

Khomas Nampol continued their great start to the Debmarine Namibia Premiership as they maintained their 100% record with two more victories over the weekend.

Defending champions African Stars take on Blue Waters in a heavyweight clash at the coast, while Khomas Nampol’s title credentials will be tested with two tough home matches in Debmarine Namibia Premiership matches this weekend.

Recently-promoted Khomas Nampol sounded a warning to their Debmarine Premiership rivals when they won a pre-season football tournament at Windhoek’s Independence Stadium on Saturday.
