The 2022 Forward Fest will feature more than food and live entertainment. A car show, fishing derby, a bake-off and art contest will be among activities in the festival May 14 in various locations throughout Pine Bluff. The festival will culminate with a concert at the Regional Park Amphitheater.

The Pine Bluff Convention Center will be taking on fewer responsibilities this year, according to Executive Director Joseph McCorvey.

Parks and recreation improvement projects are underway in the city of Pine Bluff.

In 2017, Go Forward Pine Bluff campaigned for a sales tax to improve the city and promised to raise an additional $19 million to finance initiatives that are not eligible to be funded with the tax. GFPB has raised just over $11.7 million in grants, donations and investments to date.

After all of the Saturday morning homecoming festivities on Main Street, the tailgate parties and the final touchdown of the UAPB football game, hundreds of concertgoers will enjoy some rhythm and blues music at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
