An AP report on a North Dakota man allegedly killing a local teen over a political argument omitted that the killer thought the teen was a GOP "extremist."

In his final moments, the slain teen desperately called his mother begging for her to save him.

This is a situation that deserves better than the hot takes we're getting from Twitter demagogues and cable news creeps.

"The blood of that 18-year-old North Dakota Republican...is on Joe Bidens hands," conservative commentator Todd Starnes tweeted.

Before the fatal hit-and-run, Ellingson's mother said he called her and said "that 'he' or 'they' were chasing him."
