Retired Archbishop of Church of Uganda Stanley Ntagali, who was suspended last week from performing church duties over adultery, has spoken in public for the first time since his alleged misdeeds came to light.
“I am always a happy man but the devil is a liar. We are more than conquerors in Jesus’ name,” he told his guests at his home in Wambabya Village, Kiziranfumbi Sub-county in Kikuube District.

The Family of Desteo Owobusobozi Bisaka and members of the Faith of Unity have finally confirmed his death.
Bisaka’s death was publicly confirmed on Saturday evening by the family members through the Head of communications in the faith of unity, Omukwenda Turyamureba.
“Abeeka Ya Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka N’orukurato oruhabuzi orwenyikiriza y’obumu aba faith of Unity Healing City-Kapyeemi Uganda-Africa nibamanyisa abaikiriza obumu boona, abakuru ba Gavumenti hamu n abantu boona abali hanu omu Ugandan hamu n’omunsi yoona, Okurugwaho kw obwomeezi bwa Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka Ayahangireho Enyikiriza y’obumu ey’abantu boona. Entekanizia ezindi zoona Zirasangwa Nizibamanyisibwa,” read the statement.

In his biography which he published in 1987, Bisaka says Nyakake taught him about the goodness of God and when he enrolled for secondary education at Mugalike SS in 1944,he got interest in becoming a priest which never materialized.

Bisaka, a self-proclaimed god passed away in Kenya where he had been flown for better medical services.

In the 2016 elections, Mr Museveni polled 81.4 per cent in Kibaale District, 74.47 per cent in Hoima, 69.62 per cent in Masindi and 68.74 per cent in Buliisa. Only two of the 23 MPs in Bunyoro are independents. The rest belong to NRM party. The NRM also dominates the local government seats in the area.
