Barbadian academic, economist and former Senator Sir Frank Alleyne has died.
Prime Minister Mia Mottley today praised his service to Barbados and described him as a true nation builder.

Retired economist, teacher and parliamentarian Sir Frank Alleyne has passed away. He was 84. Sir Frank, who was knighted in November 2012, was a former chairman of the Financial Services Commisison and former dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Cave Hill Campus of The University of the West Indies.
