Feb 8, 2021 Firefighters from Weirton, Steubenville, Follansbee and Hooverson Heights responded to a home at 183 Palm Drive Saturday afternoon. Weirton Fire Chief Kevin Himmelrick confirmed no one was home at the time of the fire, which appeared to have originated in the second level or first floor ceiling. The cause was under investigation. Weirton Councilman Fred Marsh reported the blaze after observing it from outside his business on nearby Pennsylvania Avenue. — Warren Scott
