A Central New York woman who was convicted of murder in 2006 had her sentence commuted by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the governor’s office said Thursday.
Theresa Debo, 64, was set to serve 22 years to life in prison for shooting and killing her boyfriend in Scriba. Debo told a jury at the time she was scared for her life during a drunken outburst by her boyfriend, according to Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard archives.

Harrisonburg Police have made multiple arrests in connection with a robbery that occurred last week in the North 38 Complex.
Sergeant Scott Drugo reported last Wednesday, H-P-D responded to the 1000 block of Woodbury Circle in relation to a larceny that had occurred earlier that day.
Drugo said four suspects were identified and eventually taken into custody, including 20-year-old Daquan Sims, 19-year-old Frederick Reed, 19-year-old Cameron Mock and 18-year-old Anterion Harris, all of Harrisonburg.
