Northbound and southbound lanes were closed after a levee broke 10 miles south of salinas. Some drivers were trapped on the highway and escorted out of that flooded area by the chp. You can see how deep the water was. More than 30 students and staff at the Elementary School were not so lucky. They have been stuck at the school and had to spend that night. Atmospheric river extending off shore which may park itself over california all the way through monday. Heavier rain at times around the kincade fire burn zone.
