WXXV News 25 July 16, 2021 Jackson County’s erosion project on Front Beach in Ocean Springs is taking longer than originally anticipated. The project is adding new pipes and concrete swells to the area to help water drain more adequately and better prevent erosion. The one-million-dollar project is now expected to be completed in September. The project was originally expected to be finished by now, but was delayed because of rainy weather.
