The University of Alabama received some major academic recognition recently. The school announced Tuesday that for the first time in its history it has been recognized as both a Top Producing Institution of Fulbright U.S. Students and a Top Producing Institution of Fulbright U.S. Scholars.

The US State Department has released the list of top Fulbright producing institutions for the academic year of 2023 to 2024.

He University of Central Missouri today announced that Phil Bridgmon, Ph.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs, has received a Fulbright U.S. International Education Administrator award to India from the United States Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Bridgmon is among approximately 10 U.S. citizens who will take part in the India-Nehru IEA program in March 2024.

Collaboration in the field of education between states is very important.

February 13, 2024 The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce 170 higher education institutions in 37 states and the District of Columbia have received the designation of Fulbright Top Producing Institution for having the highest number of candidates selected for the Fulbright U.S. Student and Fulbright U.S. Scholar Programs.

Penn State University is the nations top producer of Fulbright Scholars for the 2023-2024 academic year. Georgetown University produced the most Fulbright Students.

UT Knoxville was named a top producer of Fulbright scholars with thirteen students and recent graduates receiving awards for the 2023-2024 academic year.

UConn had 10 students named to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program in 2023-24, a record-setting number for the school
