App State has been named a Top Producer of Fulbright scholars and students for 2022–23, marking the third academic year that App State has received the honor.

Only five baccalaureate colleges, including Kenyon, are top producers of both students and faculty scholars; Kenyon is ranked as the number-one undergraduate institution for faculty scholars.

App State’s Dr. Katherine Ledford, professor of Appalachian studies, has received a 2022–23 Fulbright to teach in Jordan during spring 2023.
