The Roots have nearly completed "End Game," their 27th studio album. Last week, Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex premiered the album's first single, "Misunderstood." The song is a collaboration with Erykah Badu and Tierra Whack. It has yet to be released on streaming platforms, including Spotfiy and Apple Music. Questlove posted on Instagram that the album would be finished "pronto," but did not disclose a release date. The album has been in the works since 2016.
