Sunset, S.C. – Behind Isabella Rawl’s career-best round, Clemson women’s golf tied for the best round of the day at -7 and currently sits in second place, five shots out of the lead, heading into the final round of the 2024 Clemson Invitational. Vanderbilt, the leader heading into today, finished tied with Clemson for the best score of the second round. Rawl recorded a career-high seven birdies to card a -5 (67) and sit tied for fourth heading into the final round. Annabelle Pancake was the only other Tiger to finish under-par on Saturday, carding a -2 (70) with four birdies to sit tied for seventh. Chloe Holder finished at even par and is tied for 15th, while Melena Barrientos wraps up the scoring portion of Clemson’s lineup tied for 37 (+2). Sydney Roberts was even on the back nine on Saturday, while Katherine Schuster was even on the front nine. Ivy Schulze, Clemson’s second individual competitor, finished at +8 on the day.Texas A&M sits third heading into Sunday’s final round at -9, while Ohio State (-6) and LSU (-5) round out the top five. Individually, LSU’s Ingrid Lindblad was -5 today to move into first place at -11, while Furman’s Anna Morgan is in second at -7. The teams return to the course on Sunday for a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start in the tournament’s final round.

Grewal earned a spot in a four-way playoff for the second individual qualifying spot and became the third Clemson golfer to record a top 10 at an NCAA regional.
