Legislative panel moves forward the proposed East Grand Forks sales tax increase
The idea was considered in a committee meeting. It still needs approval from the full Legislature before it can come back to East Grand Forks for a citywide vote. EGF leaders recently discussed the tax, as well as a proposed bridge project and local government aid, during meetings in St. Paul.
