The IMEX Group unveiled details of its education program for IMEX America 2022, set to zero in on modern-day challenges and hot topics as industry professionals navigate a new normal for events.

IMEX America, long known for premier education opportunities during Smart Monday and beyond, is putting its foot on the gas to consolidate and redesign its educational offering as part of a three-year initiative, with new Head of Programme Tahira Endean, former head of events for SITE before joining the IMEX team, playing a key role in the effort.

The IMEX Group is looking to a renowned, 20-plus-year industry veteran to remodel the professional learning offerings at its two annual shows: IMEX America and IMEX Frankfurt. The group appointed Tahira Endean, author, event instructor and event producer celebrated for her expertise in experience design, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and event tech, as its newly created head of programme.  

IMEX Group has said that recent activity in the lead-up to October’s IMEX America is encouraging its confidence in the industry’s post-pandemic return.

Riding a wave of optimism following a momentous IMEX Frankfurt 2022, held May 31 to June 2, and being honored in June with the AEO Excellence Awards Best International Trade Show-Americas for its resoundingly successful IMEX America 2021 in Las Vegas last November, IMEX Group has set its sights on its next grand gathering: IMEX America 2022.
