New Delhi: Delhi government’s Vigilance Department has served a notice to former Jal Board chief Udit Prakash Rai in connection with the alleged illegal demolition of a 15th-century palace in Delhi's Jal Vihar and the construction of a grand bungalow in its place, NDTV reported.
A 2007 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, Udit Prakash Rai is currently posted in Mizoram. The monument was the only remnant of the Khizrabad city founded by Khizr Khan of the Sayyid dynasty. It was located in Delhi s Jal Vihar
