FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A surge of 58 points scored by the Razorbacks on the third and final day of the NCAA Indoor Championships secured another national championship for the Arkansas program, as they successfully defending their 2019 indoor title in the Randal Tyson Track Center.
The Razorbacks totaled 68 points to chase down the 16-point lead Texas A&M built over the first two days. The Aggies finished as runner-up with 57 points with LSU third at 39. The rest of the top 10 schools included USC (35), Georgia (31), Florida (30), BYU (29), Texas (25), Baylor (24), and Auburn (20).
Arkansas’ total is the third highest winning score over the history of the NCAA Indoor Championships, dating back to 1983, trailing only 84 by Oregon in 2017 and 71 by Texas in 1988.
