A lack of social distancing, people not wearing face masks and large gatherings. All of that is prompting leaders to cancel this weekends street closure. One block of the avenue between prospect and diablo road has been closed every weekend since june. New at 10 00, smith is here now after talking with town officials and Business Owners about whats going on. The street was closed on friday, saturday and sunday only. Danville leaders say they are done with education and had to do something after some businesses did not comply with the health order. A fight broke out and cases spiked. We came out to hear and we went all the way down past the front of the restaurant. The owner of the kitchen and bar estimates a loss of a dozen outdoor tables on the avenue in downtown danville after leaders decided to open the streets backup. Initially, a little bit of disappointment. But, after we thought about it, i think it is a better choice because of what has been happening over the past few weeks. W
Third Baptist Church in San Franciscos Western Addition neighborhood has not offered in Person Services is the shelter in place order in march. According to its pastor, reverend amos brown. Spare the air days. This is completely unusual. This is not something usual. I have never experienced anything like this. That was aaron richardson, a spokesperson for the bay area Quality Management district. He went to urge people to stay inside as much as possible when air quality levels reach the very unhealthy level. We talked to some local Hardware Stores who say air purifiers are flying off the shelves. We sold out of them very quickly and have not been able to get any out of the warehouse.
