Published March 4, 2021 2:40pm Senator Grace Poe on Thursday hoped for friendly and simple guidelines as she encouraged students needing electronic gadgets for their online classes to avail of the loan program offered by the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP). This, after LBP expanded its direct loan program for students to lend up to P50,000 for the purchase of electronic gadgets such as laptops, desktops, or tablets needed for online learning. “For many families, the leap to digital has become prohibitively expensive. We must enable them to obtain devices as an investment for their children’s education,” said Poe, who chairs the Senate committees on banks and on public services.
