A number of energy companies are proposing building facilities throughout west Ottawa that would store excess electricity, but those who live nearby say theyre concerned about how the facilities would affect them and their property values.

Several roads have been closed or have been reduced down to one lane. Closures include: Farmland Road – Closed from Craig’s Side Rd. to Donald B. Munro Dr. Craig’s Side Road – Closed from Donald B.
