Nature lovers, hikers and bird watchers are going to have a new spot in Northampton County to frequent.
The Plainfield Township Planning Commission has recommended that township supervisors approve final land development for the Gall Farm Preserve. Supervisors will likely vote on final approval next month.
The Northampton County-owned property, which is a mixture of farmland and woodlands, consists of two parcels north of Gall Road and two parcels south of Gall Road totaling about 160 acres.
